Highgate Cemetery has been on our list of places to visit since our trip to London last summer. There wasn’t a super compelling reason why, it’s just one of those things that end up on your list.
There are two parts to the cemetery, one which is much more restricted because of some of the ornate victorian era mausoleums and the east side which has much more of a mix of grave sites, where we went.
It’s in a beautiful wooded location in north London. Surrounded by some beautiful neighborhoods. The cemetery is impressive because nearly 200,000 people are buried in some 50,000+ graves. There are notable people buried here like Douglas Adams and Karl Marx.
Anyway, nothing much of note here, just some photos I took during the visit. Bye.
