A Christmas Carol, the famed novel by Charles Dickens, tells the oft retold tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, a gloomy man visited by spirits from the past, present and future. A story of redemption, the novel also serves as a story of Christmas. Drawing inspiration from this tale, I enlisted Channing as a model to help me represent the personalities & traits of each of the three ghosts. The ghosts are reflections of memories, feelings, and projections of an evolving life: The melancholy, regret and longings of the past. The joy, celebration and in-the-moment frivolity of the present. The uncertainty, anticipation, fear and ultimately the maleable-opportunity of the future.
